Zendord · Realm of Deep Absorption
As elixir forms and qi returns, spirit turns inward. Breath becomes imperceptible, body and mind dissolve — absorption arises naturally.

"Returning to the root is stillness; stillness is returning to life."
Tao Te Ching, Chapter 16
Three Understandings of Samādhi
After dynamic release and refinement, qi retreats inward, mind ceases. True stillness unfolds — as destination, not starting point.
Not forced through posture or technique — it arises through non-doing, uninvited. Desiring absorption is the greatest obstacle.
When qi returns and thoughts cease, the spirit becomes undisturbed and hidden within — the deepest rest and return of life energy.
Four Stages of Meditative Absorption
Withdrawing from sensory desire, joy and ease arise. Thought still moves, but ordinary mind has given way to the first gate of practice.
Thought naturally ceases; a deeper joy and ease arise from unification itself. Consciousness is unified, no longer scattered.
Coarser joy fades; a subtle quiet happiness remains. Mindfulness is clear, awareness steady and unmoved by experience.
Both pleasure and pain are relinquished; only pure equanimity remains. Breath is imperceptible, body-mind like space, awareness pure and luminous.
"Achievement without possession—thus it endures forever."
Tao Te Ching, Chapter 2
